Eye swollen after waking up?

It looks kinda like I have a Japanese eye. It's just really small and it won't opem up any more. My eyelid is kinda like swollen down.

What can I do to make it go away? I have a date tonight. Please help.

Just 1 eye? My eyes are always swollen if I was crying at all before I went to sleep but its always both eyes... If you didn't get punched it sounds like you have an infection of some sort. I would be planning a trip to the doctor rather than getting ready for my date if I were you. You can try green tea packets on it in the meantime if you have them. Just soak them in a little cold water and place them on your eye for about 20 minutes or so. That always works for me if I have swollen eyes from crying. I usually follow that with a shower making sure to rinse my eyes really well and it clears up pretty good. Honestly, though one swollen eye for no apparent reason doesn't sound good. Call a doctor and see if they can fit you in real quick. A lot of walk-in clinics will take a look at it pretty cheaply. I've had to go to a couple before for eye infections and other stuff.

Sounds like conjunctivitis (aka pink eye). If so, you would need get a prescription from a doctor for some eye drops or topical cream. It will go away a few after treatment begins, but probably not in time for your date. Visine may help to reduce some swelling, but if it is pink eye, it will not go away on its own.
