  1. There is no real way to tell. Whatever information anyone gives you is only an approximation, and most likely incorrect. A vision fraction will depend on many more things than just the prescription. The only way to find out a person's true vision fraction is to be tested by the eye doctor. Sorry, but there really is no way to tell.

  2. If you are currently wearing glasses, call the doctor who did your last exam. They will have in your chart what your visual acuity is uncorrected, and what they expect you to see with the newest correction. With normal healthy eyes it is reasonable to expect 20/20 vision with correction, but not everyone is correctable to that degree. For me a -5.50 may give me 20/20 vision, but for someone else it may only give them 20/30. So it really isn't possible to determine the visual acuity by just the prescription numbers only.

  3. well I have a negative 1.75 and i cant see far away........when the numbers are negative it means you are near-sited ( can't see far away) and when they are positive you are far-sited (can't see close up). IDK if this is any help but i tried!

  4. 20/20 = 0.00

    20/25 = -0.25

    20/30 = -0.50

    20/40 = -0.75

    20/50 = -1.00

    20/70 = -1.25

    20/100 = -1.50

    20/200 = -2.50

    These are approximations.
