Eyebrow pencil or gel?

Question

When you fill in your eyebrows, do you prefer using an eyebrow pencil, powder, or gel? I have black sparse eyebrows. Should I buy a brown shade? Just for kicks, I tried filling in my eyebrows with a sharpened black eyeliner and it looked way too dark to be natural.

I don't draw on fake eyebrows.  people should use what God gave them, and trim the straglers, and they wouldn't have to draw fake ones on.  If you naurally don't have much that's different, you should use a pencil in a dark brown or brown and use a shadow over it to make it not stand out so much.  Good luck.

I have blond hair and light skin, and I actually prefer to use a brown shade of eyeshadow, that matches my brows... and I take one of the little spongy eyeshadow brushes, that are long and skinny, and fill in my eyebrows with that... I don't know why but I prefer that to pencils or gels...
