Eyeglasses frames?

Is it possible to buy frames somewhere and then go to an eye doctor and have them get the lenses for it?

Yes it is possible. Just like when you have your old frame you can have a new prescription on your old frame.

some frames will not be suitable for certain presriptions especially if bi focals are needed. so that is why it is better to have the eye test get the prescription and then ask what type of frames you can have to fit your prescription and tell them if you need budget frames in a certian price range or not otherwise they will try and talk you into you buying Hugo Boss or Chanel lol.

Yes it is.For example,if you buy a vintage pair of glasses on eBay,you can have lenses filled with your prescription!
