Eyelash curlers and mascara? ?

Question

whenever i use my eyelash curlers, when i apply mascara afterwards the mascara makes no difference to what they look like, unlike if i put mascara on first/alone. would it be better to curl them after putting on mascara to get both benefits or wouldnt that work? i know eyelash curlers are supposed to be used on clean lashes but my mascara adds nothing if i curl them first? what to do? why doesnt mascara make a difference if applied second? has anyone else noticed this? thanks

don't use curlers once the mascara is on. I once did this and all my eyelashes stuck to the tongs and it has taken about ten years for them to grow back

I use mac eye lashe curlers and they the best ones! I paid £12 and i love them.  I never curl my lashes after i've applied mascara.  I curl lashes every morning and night and app mascara and they are huge!  A number of ppl ask me if i wear fake lashes as my lashes are huge and long.  I love them.  I wear comb mascara which ive worn for ages as its the best one for mine.  I dont like the brush ones they really dont work for me.  But id never use mascara without my curlers they are my life!  I recommend mac ones tho they are fab!!

I always curl first and then use mascara. Maybe your mascara isn't very good. i noticed this earlier. If i use Rimmel volum flash it makes my lashes big and long. But if i use Boots No.7 volume after i have curled it makes my lashes look more scragly and soo much worse. i think it is the wand because with rimmel you can wiggle it into the lashes for even coverage whereas with boots you can't get it anywhere in.

but i have got a really gud mascara that was £20 dno y brought it but works soooo

put mascara on last it'll work beleive me im a makup artist nah joke i luv makup though lol

well i curl then put mascara and it always look great. If you put mascara then curl you can break your lashes(my aunt is a makeup artist andshe told me this lol). maybe you should try moving the brush side to side as you go up,they actually make a vibrating mascara brush for that lol
