Eyeliner Help!!!!!!!

Question

well, i am going to try and convince my mom to let me wear eyeliner this year to school. I am in 8th grade, is that too early to wear it? and i don't want to wear too much. How do i apply it?

i just started to waer it and im going to 8th grade yea. um just go to nordstrom when your at the mall and tell your mom while shes looking around that youll be at mac and ask them to put some on you. then show your mom and ask her

Not too young if you only apply it lightly. Use it only on the top, for now. Use it right next to your lashes in a thin line. Make small feather like strokes & it will help you not make mistakes. If you use a pencil - be sure to keep it sharpened.

okay , i personally don't think its too early to wear it because I started wearing eyeliner in 7th grade... along with all of my school... when you apply it , you lift the bottom lid of your eye, and put it on above your bottom lashes. when you first start don't push down to hard , barely put any pressure... and then as you go on; you will be able to experiment because your more comfortable... and if your mom approves of you wearing eyeliner, you can always ask her for any tips... =]

8th grade is fine to wear eyeliner. A lot of people in 7th do.

As for how to apply it, for me, I can only do it myself- i always blink and get freaked out when people do it on me, so get comfortable with you doing it. Don't overdo it, unless that's the look you're going for- but it doesn't seem like you are. For tutorials and such, youtube has many:

They are very helpful, and you can practice it. You can also ask a friend you know wears it to help you. They can give the best advice, and let you know what looks good- they'll be honest.

I don't like pencil, it just apply too much into eye. and make people look like Raccoon. I only use eyeliner when I was 14. Be sure to not use too much .

hah ive been wearin it since the fifth grade but ya my parents r too carefree and let me do whatever i want but ya ur at a good age everyone in my school started wearing it in 8th grade.im going into 9th im so glad i have experience wiht makeup lol ummm kinda hard how to explain how to apply it

I wore eyeliner in 8th grade ( im going to 9th grade) but only on top with black  cuz otherwise i'd look too "dark" (soft pencil). I preferred brown eye liner which i also wore on the bottom. Try to make the line as close to your lashes as possible. I suggest not doing the whole line in one stroke but do little strokes to get an alternated thick-thin line (if u like). At the beginning i wasnt so good in getting quite smooth lines so when i got the whole line done (not perfect) i smudged it with a Q-tip which made the line look softer and more natural.

Many girls in 8th grade wear some sort of makeup. You can always start with a subtle color, like brown or gray, when you transition into wearing makeup. You can start with a pencil (i find them better than crayons).  Application varies from eye shape to eye shape.

i wasnt aloud to wear it till hs, but when i did i got so many compliments. try to draw it as close to the root as possible and try pencil before liquid.

That is the grade I started wearing eyeliner and you know I only wore it because I thought it was fun too look older and wear makeup. Honestly if you don't need need it...don't wear it! It's all about the natural look these days and once you start wearing it...you HAVE to wear it because that's what people are used to seeing you like. If you want a little change try mascara instead. It makes your eyes look bigger and is not so extreme and heavy like eyeliner is.
