Ok, I have really deep set eyes that are oily and water a lot (not a great combo) and my eyeliner always comes off really fast so i was looking for any suggestions! Oh nd I have tried mac and revlon and neither worked.

Oh and i want pencil eyeliner; so what make would be best!!!

And, does putting powder under you eye help it stay on and does putting your eyeliner in the fridge help???

  1. Make sure you're putting the eyeliner on the line BELOW the watery line right below your eye.  It should not come off easily, regardless of whether or not your eyes water.

  2. I've never heard of putting your eyeliner in the fridge. Putting powder foundation under your eye will help a lot with preventing eyeliner from running and giving it more staying power. Brush some on with an eyeshadow brush, all over the areas where you're going to apply eye makeup. Then, just apply it as normal. If the powder alone doesn't work, try putting some foundation underneath the powder. Or you could put eyeshadow the same color as your eyeliner over or under it, or even just use that as eyeliner, it also will give it a softer look which I like.

Another thing you might want to consider is a makeup base - I know L'Oreal makes one which you can get at Rite Aid, but if you can afford Mac then I'd suggest that.

Try looking for makeup that advertises its ability to stay on. If you have sensitive eyes, certain kinds will irritate them.

  3. waterproof eyeliner :P

  4. i always do concealer, eye make-up, concealer again.. and i definitly think the cheap pencil eyeliner that you have to sharpen is the way to go, you can make it as sharp as you want and it doesn't run like the soft kind in the plastic tube.

  5. Cover it with a matching colour eyeshadow to help set it.  Maybe wet the eyeshadow brush first so it'll stay on longer anyway.

Also you could buy a primer to put on as a base.

  6. The cheaper the eyeliner is, the crappier it is.. I have similar eyes.. Oily underneath and they're watery. I think that waterproof eyeliner would be your best option. Pencil or liquid.. Your choice.

Also, check out Sears (if you have it). Their makeup section is pretty huge with companies like Lancome, Clinique, Estee Lauder, Dior and more! :) There's also consultants there ready to help you with anything!

  7. use concealer first.

  8. apply a light powder around it and a bit on it
