Eyes ITCH!!?

Question

My eyes have started to itch so intensely and I am not even go outside...And sometimes I would get an itchy nose like I am about to sneeze and then watery eyes...Then my eyes would have a stuffy feeling...I don't even know what is going on...Is this just an allergy? I used certain eyedrops that my doctor previously gave me but I don't think they help...What do I need to do?

sounds like an allergy to me. you might want to try some allergy medz like benadryl or claritan. should the discomfort persist, a trip to the doctor is in order.

You can get hayfever symptoms at any age, rapeseed is a common culprit or pet hair. Try hayfever preparations.

You don't talk about wheezy chest, difficulty breathing, aching bones, skin rashes etc., so it doesn't appear to be anything more than an allergy or hayfever. If you do get other symptoms go to see your doctor for blood tests as there are arthritic and/or auto immune disorders which can start this way.

You can buy allergy eyedrops over the counter. It sounds like allergies, I know my eyes get itchy if I touch a cat and then touch my eyes. Allergy eyedrops fix the problem really well, but a warning...they do sting a bit.

If eyedrops don't help then I would go to an eye doctor (Opthamologist)
