  1. Try filtered water - it could be that some of the stuff that gets left in or added into your water is setting off a reaction.

  2. possible your tap water contains something that irritates them.  Eyedrops make my eyes worse.  try eyewash from the drugstore.

  3. Close your eyes REALLY shut, because you might be getting too much water in your eyes. You might even be getting a tiny bit of soap, or something. Don't worry, your eyes might just be more sensitive than others. Getting water in your eyes too much can also irritate them even more.

  4. it could be your makeup.  i was using this eyeliner for a while and when i would wash it off my eyes would start to burn like crazy.  idk tho, thats pretty weird.

  5. are you washing with a kind of soap? it may be getting into your eyes and burning them. if not, stop washing your face fora  day and see if it goes away.

  6. well you should not flush them at all unless in emergencies .. youre tears should do that naturally .. if you need more moisture as and opthamologist for a presciption or ask for a med at a pharmacy

  7. nobody on yahoo can truely diagnose this...go see an eye docter.....or mabye just dont get water in them....sry Im no help

  8. are you using face wash or anything that my drip into your eyes when you rinse?

  9. here are some possibilities:

1.the soap gets in your eye

solution:close your eyes when you wash your face and dont get the soap around your eyes. just on forehead, cheecks, chin and nose. basically the T-zone

    2.the water is not clean

solution:ask people in your family to see if the water is filtered correctly or if it is!

    3.you may have eye infection

solution:get an appointment at an eye doctor and give him/her the details

4.you are allergic to the cleanser you are using

solution: stop using the cleanser and find one that is soothing.(ask a dermatologist for suggestions if needed)

  10. close your eyes when washing your face

  11. You should try filtered water! Maybe you just have an alergic reaction to filthy water so try cleaning it with filter first! Eye drops are a bit helpful but if you are alergic to dirty water nothing can help except for replacing it with clean water!

  12. thats bad

  13. just stop washing your face.

  14. it stings jusst like chlorine does to many people - im use to it do it alot and see if it works i can now look underwater without my eyes hurting

  15. u might have pink eye

  16. There is no need to wash your eyes, the natural PH balance in the liquid that distributes when you blink will cleanse your eyes for you. My advice is to close your eyes very tight when you wash your face and don't open them until they are completely dry.

  17. Go see an ophthalmologist (eye doctor).

You may have dry eyes which is what i had, but it may be something else go get it checked out ASAP the sooner the better!
