I am the one and only person in my family that dosen wear glasses....whats up wth that???

my mother and i have horrible sight but my dad has been to urgent care to get metal pieces out of his eye numerous amounts of times probably twice a month hes a welder and he has 20 20 vision! and he hates carrots

Very lucky. I have terrible eyesight. And it was almost overnight after having 20/20 vision for 12 years then before I turned 13 I just couldnt see anymore. It kinda scared me. So be prepared. You might wake up and see blurs!

I believe it was a recessive trait in your parents. a gene that probably skipped your parent's generation. Do your grandparents have glasses or not (when they were adults, not now). If not, then I'm correct. If they do, you must be eating a crapload of carrots.

That's impossible to answer without knowing

1) How old you are, AND

2) Why your family wear glasses.

For examples, if they all wear glasses because they are nearsighted, and you are in your early teens, you may have to wait a little longer for it to happen to you. 16-18 is a very common age for myopia to begin.

thats funny cause im the only one in da family that doesnt wear glasses too that means u probably just dont play alot of video games and dont watch alot of tv!! or u could just be lucky =p
