Eyes question?

i had just recently recieved glasses for long distance seeing. My eyesight is minus 150. When i got my glasses and pu them on my eyes hurt like crazy. Do my eyes just have to get used to the glasses. the precription cant be the problem because i see fine.

Take the glasses back to the doctor that prescribed them.  Even the slightest mistake can make your eyes hurt.

they may be too strong for you and causing you some eyestrain since you have to use additional focus through your glasses, i would have your prescription double-checked with your doctor.

Are you sure you can see fine? Does the ground look weird when you look down?

They're not meant to hurt your eyes. This may stop in a few hours once your eyes adjust to them but if the problem persists, then I urge you go back to your doctor who prescribed them to you.
