Eyes red from contacts?

I just started wearing contacts yesterday and i did everything the doctor told me to do. When i woke up this morning my eyes were bloodshot, so i was wondering if i should continue to wear my contacts or not.

I would call the dr just to make sure everything is ok but I think it is because yours eyes are trying to adjust to having contacts in your eyes. If you want put some lubricating drops in them to see if that brings some relief.

I wear contacts as well and the same thing happened to me. I took them out and went to the doctor. Turns out everything was fine, and my eyes were just getting adjusted. However, if it was me just to be safe I'd take them out and give the doctor a call.

YEAH keep wearing them! You probably just left them in to long the first day you are sopposed to work your way up gradually. Also make sure you get enough sleep. =D

It's just because your eyes aren't used to wearing contacts.  Everythings okay, it'll just take a little while for your eyes to get used to them, but it stops happening after a while.
