Eyeshadow colour???????

Question

Should your eyeshadow colour be lighter or darker than your natural eyelid colour if you are going for that natural/nude look?

for the natural look i like lighter colours on your entire lid, such as a beige neutral color(yes lighter than your eyelids), and a darker brown blended in the creases - mainly the outer corner of your eyes. i like neutral colors because it's not too bold but it's still natural and gorgeous. if you have lighter hair a dark brown is nice for eye liner on your top eyelid above the lashlines and if you have dark hair a soft black is nice to line your eye with. blend it or smudge it lightly so it's not too harsh. one or two coats of mascara to top it off that's curled nicely will help finish off the look. you could also add some lighter colors such as white or a sparkling beige to highlight under your brow bown and tear ducts of your eyes. good luck and hope this helps!

Just a tad darker, maybe one shade darker than your skin tone, maybe do one shade lighter as a base and one shade darker as the light accent.

Darker. If you have Olive skin, a beige colour looks beautiful.

If you have pale-ish skin a light/pale brown looks really nude.

If you have tanned/darker skin, a stronger (but not too much!) shade of brown looks very nice.

try a goldish color on your lid, then a darker brown in the crease. then do a lighter nude color above that, up to the brow for a natural smoky look.

i like to do almost the same color with a little bit of shimmer added. and then under my eyebrow for a high lighter i use white but not too much or else it will look horrible.

here my natural. (i knwo im wearing eyeliner but when i wear eye liner i like wear natural eyeshadow, sometimes both but thats when im going out lol.)

depending on your hair colour..if you have a dark hair colour and little bit lighter or a match to your hair colour is nice..if you have light hair a little bit darker or match your hair colour tends to work it evens things out a bit. hope this helps.
