Eyeshadow primer????

How necessary is it, and can you use regular face primer instead?

YOU CAN USE FACE PRIMER AS EYESHADOW PRIMER BUT I SUGGEST USING EYESHADOW PRIMER CAUSE AT TIMES IT BRINGS OUT THE COLOR OF THE EYESHADOW AND IT'S NOT NECESSARY UNLESS YOU WANT A LONGER LASTING EYESHADOW

For everyday, just applying foundation to your eyelids is just fine. If you need really powerful stay for certain occasions, Urban Decay Primer Potion is the best that you can buy. It's $20 at Ulta or Sephora. I don't need that much holding power so I've only used it 3 times. Just using the foundation should be good enough, I do it everyday. It's definitely worth the extra step, it makes the eyeshadow stay longer and the pigment more vibrant.

idk why people spend money on Eyeshadow primer it's silly. just apply cover up stick on your lids that will keep the shadow in place

Primer is usually "priming" your face for the makeup you are about to apply. What i do is just put a little amount of concealer on my eyelids so that my eyeshadow will stick better. You can use face Primer i find its cheaper. What ever adapts to your skin the most is the best for you. Just be careful that  you dont apply somthing that is to thick, for you may get clumps on your eyelids and we dont want that. i use the N.Y.C  concealer stick and it works fine! It kinda looks like lipstick! Hope this helped!
