The Argentinean international completed his move to Paris Saint-Germain following a five-year love affair with the Neapolitan outfit, and leaves with great memories.
Despite his apparent love for the club and the city of Naples, Lavezzi has always been critical of the lack of privacy he has at the club. The Argentinean was brought to the limelight through his performances for the Partenopei,

Lavezzi conceded that he had to plan in advance any trip he had to make to the city, and infamously sat in his car’s trunk, so as to not attract attention. The Argentinean had also been mugged last year, which made him hesitant
over his future at the club.
However, despite the criticisms over the course of his career, Lavezzi has sent out a note to all his Neapolitan fans, stating that it has been an amazing journey for him. He admitted that he was fascinated by his move to the

He continued:

His statement went on, and the new PSG signing went on to state that he will always keep the club and its supporters close to his heart. He also spoke of the big steps the club had made while he was part of the Azzurri. The 27-year-old
went on to state:
“In football as is in life, you never know what your destiny will be. The door for a possible return will always be open for me and, if not as a player, I will return again to remember the so many moment of happiness and joy.”
The attacking midfielder did not dismiss any rumours of a possible return to the Serie A outfit, in the coming future.
