The F-15 for one simple reason, it has two engines.  The F-16 only has one.  If the F-15 loses one, then at least maybe you can make it home.  If the F-16 engine takes a dump on you, then you are just S.O.L.

I'd go for the F-16. Both combatants have similar weaponry and then it would depend on sensors and countermeasures.

The bigger RCS of the F-15 would make it more readily detectable than the smaller F-16. Close in, the F-16 is more nimble and would win in a gun fight.
