I think the Raptor is the best of the two.  It is stealth and has the ability to supercruise without afterburner.  It's super maneuverable and it is beautiful on the ground and in the air!

Typhoon is a small multirole fighter while Raptor is a larger and more intimidating air superiority fighter. Multimission capability and cost-effectiveness goes to Typhoon but if these two planes were to destroy each other, Raptor will win, anytime, everytime.

Having worked in the defence industry for over a decade now, I know the Typhoon is an extremely capable aircraft, but combat and evaluation pilots who have flown both tend to favour the F-22's slightly better manouvreability in its primary role as an air superiority fighter.  The Typhoon fulfils a greater multi-role capacity due to many nations being involved in its original design, all of which had their own particular needs.

I think the F-22 just shades it, but the Typhoon is a worthy opponent

the eurofighter is better overall since it provides better mission veersatility.

HOWEVER it is better only until it engages  the Raptor.

since you demand the stating of better OVERALL, I say Eurofighter. should you ask for better FIGHTER or better precision munition delivery platform, i'd answer Raptor.

you are simply comparing two diferent categories of aircraft, one stealth air superiority dedicated, while the latter is versatile multipurpose, multimission capable.

The F-22 raptor DEFINITELY. It has stealth and super cruise(its going supersonic speeds with out the use of afterburners) which are some of the key difference that makes it better.
