Fédération Internationale d'Escrime unveils 2010-11 Team Fencing rankings list – Fencing News
The International Fencing Federation, Fédération Internationale d'Escrime, has revealed the 2010-11 Team ranking on April 3, 2011. The teams were ranked on the basis of points they secured in the Fencing World Cups until April 1.
The ranking is categorised on the basis of Foil, Epee and Sabre in both the Men’s and Women’s category. The top 10 Team’s lists for the 2010-11 rankings are as follows:
Men's Foil Team:
1. China with 396 points
2. Italy with 372 points
3. Japan with 320 points
4. Russia with 280 points
5. France with 261 points
6. Korea with 236 points
7. United States with 222 points
8. Germany with 222 points
9. Great Britain with 197 points
10. Poland with 185 points
Women's Foil Team:
1. Italy with 436 points
2. Russia with 332 points
3. Korea with 316 points
4. Poland with 288 points
5. Germany with 244 points
6. United States with 227 points
7. France with 212 points
8. China with 207 points
9. Hungary with 200 points
10. Japan with 195 points
Men’s Epee Team:
1. Hungary with 327 points
