In order to make supporters quit their smoking habit; the Catalan club have joined forces with the European Commission to set up a unique campaign.
The modern day model of football, F.C Barcelona, have decided to benefit the fans of the game in an aspect other than that of football.
Considered as the best institute regarding the football education, the Catalan club‘s board has now teamed up forces with the European Commission to help the supporters of the game give up the hazardous habit of smoking.
The club’s recent campaign is named as “Quit Smoking with Barca” and it features an online and mobile application that is called FCB iCoach.
The application has a number of features and gives its users personalised tips and anti smoking motivational helps from the players of the famous club.
Other important figures connected to the club are also thought to be featuring in the application’s agenda, including current Barca manager Tito Vilanova and club President, Sandro Rosell.
The campaign was officially launched on Saturday and is based on a scientific approach which identifies the exact nature of the problem that the smoker encountered while adapting the harmful habit.
