I am unable to take any kind of photo in any mode ( P,S,A,M ) and i don't have manual with me :(

  1. If the above answers doesn't fix it try reattaching the lens.

    That would (always) give a "FEE" error on the D70 and similar bodies without mechanical AI meter coupling. Nicklas is getting a "F--" error, which indicates his D70 has no communication with the lens. His D70 "thinks" he has a non-CPU (manual focus) lens mounted and has gone "dumb". That means dirty or misaligned CPU contacts (body or lens) or a CPU fault in the camera or lens.

  3. Switch the Aperture on the lens to the largest number (typically 22) and watch it go away.....
