It is a fiber optic cable run from the U.K. To Crab Meadow beach (npt)NY,then run thru the sewer lines to NYC.It was the landing of it and ballast water from Bakers corp which destroyed the most productive shell fish grounds on Long Island.The one person whom could of stopped it was town board member : Steve Isrel,whom now is a stronge politiation.
