  1. Murray Walker.

    There can be no other.

I met him a few times, at the racing car show, fabulous bloke with great human warmth and good humour. I very much regret not asking for his autograph.

His passion and knowledge of motor sport are unsurpassable, both for bikes and cars.

His commentary style was fantastic and we can all remember a few `Murrayisms`.

Do any of you remember his trip around Brands in the tragically late George O`Dells sidecar ?

Anyway, the best commentary team EVER was Murray and James.

  2. Definitely is Galvão Bueno from Brazil...

When He speak... you feel the same emotion that driver...

  3. Steve Slater. He does it for star sports, he's always spot on and rarely mistakes one driver for another, his starts are exciting and he picks up all the details of the race as they happen without stopping or stuttering while he speaks.  Most importantly, he has managed to remain a true professional and not make any biased or personal remarks about the drivers or teams unlike those ITV b******s who love certain drivers and completely ignore others...

  4. Nelson Piquet

  5. Once there was an ex-pilot,a Brazilian Nelson Piquet.

Recently the best commentator is Schumacher.

  6. it has got to be the voice of F1...Mr Murray Walker.....he has imo been the most enthusiastic commentator ever, yes he had his 'murrayisms' and the odd mistake in 'theres the orange ferrari of Michael Schumacher' he was truly a great guy. as said b4, he made the dull boring races exciting at 3am!!!!

  7. The commentry for the races shown on Australian TV is from ITV which I'm not the biggest fan of... give me Murray Walker any day. It's worth watching the races at ungodly hours just to listen to him!!

  8. SMEGMA! for sure

  9. Steve Slater for all the reasons Gatorade said.

Plus his accurate pre-race forecasts. In the last race in 2007, he said Ferrari would spring a surprise and Kimi could emerge the winner and that Alonso is crumbling under pressure. And it all happened. I love him!

And his commentary is very interesting. I woudn't want to miss one word of it. He's serious enough and funny at times. He keeps you on your toes.

  10. Days gone by it would have been Murray Walker, men that guys voice was great and he used to get so EXCITED!!!

  11. It is Steve Slater of star sports.

every word that comes out to his mouth is always full of thouhgts and very informative.

especially when his voice is in a high pitch that will make your adrenalin rush.

    he is simply the best.
