Hi,I'm getting a flashing F1 error code (with beep). Resetting power and even disconnecting power for a day does not fix it. This first happened a couple of days ago while the oven was running, and the first code that showed was F7, followed by the F1 code. That was the only time F7 showed up, it's been F1 ever since. Some web research indicates that it may be the temperature sensor or the ERC (control board?), though the F7 is typically the touchpad (which appears to be working just fine). Someone mentioned to check the resistance on the wires from the temp sensor (with high values indicating a faulty sensor), but how do I find out which wires are the correct ones? I have yet to find a diagram of the wiring.Thx,Frank

We have a GE Profile JTP17 convection wall oven...14 years old with light use. We are getting an F1 error code and beep when the oven is NOT in use. I had to pop the breaker to stop it. I guess my question is - what does the F1 error code indicate, and how can I fix it ? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide ---- Don
