An ear of corn that is heterozygous purple and heterozygous starchy is crossed with an ear of corn that is homozygous yellow and homozygous starchy. What is the expected genotypic and phenotypic ratio of their offspring (F1 generation)?

    t = sweet

    Parents:  PpTt  x  ppTT

    Gametes from first parent:  PT, Pt, pT, pt

    Gametes from second parent:  all pT

    F1:

    ............ pT    (you don't have to do a whole 16-square)

    PT ..... PpTT

    Pt ...... PptT

    pT ..... ppTT

    pt ....... pptT

    You can do the phenotypic ratio from these results.
