F1 News: Red Bull driver Sebastian Vettel thrilled after winning the Brazilian Grand Prix

Red Bull racing team driver Sebastian Vettel thrashed his championship rivals with a comfortable victory at the Brazilian Grand Prix at the legendary Interagos circuit. Sebastian was lost for words after he won the race and secured the constructors’ title
for his team after leading his teammate and one of his championship rivals Mark Webber.
Sebastian was extremely disappointed after he qualified in 2nd place on the grid as Nico Hulkenberg surprising took the pole position after an amazing lap that was over a second faster than Sebastian’s fastest time.
However, right after the 5 lights illuminated to begin the Brazilian grand prix, Vettel attacked Nico Hulkenberg and eventually took the lead from him followed by his teammate Mark Webber, Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton. The German thought that it was
quite incredible and was lost for words after an amazing drive at the beautiful Interlagos circuit.
“I think it was the right answer for all the people to come back here, never mind what happened in Korea to stay focused and all the team pulling on one string and getting us both up here a 1-2 and getting the constructors' championship one race before the
end I think is fantastic,” said the race winner.
This season has definitely been one of the most difficult seasons in the history of the sport with tracks like the Korean International Circuit. However, since the championship leader Fernando Alonso finished in 3rd place on the podium, Sebastian
is now trailing the Spaniard by 15 points.
“Obviously we are still fighting for the drivers' championship and we have to get rid of this guy [Alonso] but it is an unbelievable achievement and I am very proud with regards to all the people in the team, the factory in Milton Keynes but also in Austria,”
said Sebastian.
With his teammate Mark Webber just 8 points behind the championship leader, Red Bull will race for the title at the grand finale in Abu Dhabi, however one must not rule out Lewis Hamilton as he is also alive in the championship. The McLaren driver is just
24 points adrift of the championship leader and after witnessing the finale of the 2007 Formula 1 season; it would not be a surprise even if Lewis takes away the drivers’ title for his team.
“They have been starting this programme, this target, before I entered Formula One but it is nice now to be part of that and I am very proud of my team and of myself. So I would say it is a fantastic day,” he added.
