F1 VISA delay?

I've applied for F1 visa and don't know if the U.S embassy will issue my visa even if the register date on my I-20 had passed..I don't know what's coming up ..did anybody face this situation before?

To get the visa you'll need either a new I-20 or a letter from the school stating that it's okay to arrive after your start date.

This is not an uncommon event.  Simply contact your Designated School Official (DSO) and advise that your visa has been delayed.  Ask for a new start date for school and have them issue a new I-20.
