  1. I can't say i disagree with him but i don't think it's boring at all.

    Montoya is a c**k

  2. considering there were officially 270 passing moves last year i dont think so.

                      passes made

    Felipe Massa 20

    Lewham         16

    kubica            17

    rosburg           17

    alonso             13

    kimi                11

    fisi                   19

    ralf                  16

    Vitantonio Liuzzi 12

    dc                    10

    sato                  14

    heidfeld              8

    webber               8

    vettel                 4

    kazzo                2

    button                17

    heikki                 11

    wurz                   11

    davidson             8

    trulli                    13

    sutil                     11

    Barrichello            10

    albers                   0

    speed                   0

    yamamoto             2

    winkelhoch             0

                            = 270

these do include passes in the pits

  3. Yeah b/c he is not welcome back in F1. Dude is talented  but he needs to justify his decision to join boring Nascar somehow.

  4. Depends on what you are looking for.  If you want 20 passes for the lead, no doubt F1 is boring.  If you are looking for the technology aspect of racing, it's pretty exciting.  Whatever floats your boat.

  5. His relationship with F1 when he left was not exactly great was it lol. He's found his niche and is happy so fair shout to him. all he has to do now is win every now and then.............

  6. Tryin 2 fit his large tummy in cockpit, visits 2 gym,n those gs..dey took toll on montoya

  7. First, take note that there are currently 20 cars on the F1 grid as opposed to 40 cars in NASCAR. There'll be more traffic then.

Well, he has a few fair points there but I don't think F1 is boring. In Canada, there was lots of battle for position on the track (Massa made a really brilliant overtaking move there). Then in France, Trulli was hunted by Heikki and Kubica.

  8. He has seen the light.

  9. He never made it to the top in F1, but blamed everyone else but his own errors, that's why he had to go to NASCAR.

Of course he can't admit that now, so he has to bash F1.

  10. A driver will start to dislike the sport when he is not able to meet up to the reputations set earlier by him.

Moreover, montoya was struggling & could not withstand the pressure of his team-mate kimi as he was performing brilliantly.

This made him dislike the sport.I think it is the genuine reason.

The same happened to Alonso last year but he didnt leave the sport instead he wanted to prove that he is still a champ!

    Montoya abdicated very early!

  11. F1 is definitely not boring especially to those who understand the game, the rules, team strategies, innovations..etc..

JPM is just sour-graping, he dislikes Formula 1 because he believes there's no way he can win an F1 championship even if he's at  McLaren, one of the best teams in the league.

  12. lukecart... made a great point 270 passes last season some in the pits, that's less than one race in nascar,

jpm is right you might not want to admit it but you know everything he said is true, don't believe it? then why is f1 bringing back slicks? and doing a 50% aero grip reduction?

Toyota spending $500 million  a year since 2001 i believe?

that's $3,500,000,000 for about 3 podiums? no wins, no poles, no fastest laps, and couple this lack of action with the 4:30am west coast 7:30 am east coast race times and 29 out of 30 people in the states will say Lewis who?

i still watch f1 before any other racing, i do set my clock to catch pre race, i do have Guido and Luigi from the movie Cars decked out in Ferrari regalia sitting on my desk at work, but I'm not so blind as to say F1 doesn't have problems, and I'm not going to S**t on JPM because he speaks his mind and the truth even though its not what i WANT to believe,
