F1 has such a huge following in the world, yet the activity at F1 section in Yahoo Answers is relatively low.

Why ?

  1. People may at last understand how the search facility works, thus stopping the monthly repetition of the same dozen questions which have until now fuelled the F1 section...either that or all the good questions have been asked by someone and answered by rosbif already.

  2. come back on a race weekend, we are out in force lol.

  3. I have been on this section a relatively short time but I have seen the activity vary alot. During race weekends it is at it's most busiest.

Also alot of people are on holiday-I have just come back from mine.

  4. Some regular answerers are taking an occasional break. This was because of the F1 3-week break. Then there's also people who only come here once in a while.  Otherwise it's quite busy esp during race weekends. On Saturday usually the place will be flooded with questions and same goes for right after the race. There's a race next weekend so by then it'll be lively again.

  5. There are more Americans on this one... I bet there is even more activity in the UK Answers site.

Actually there is much more activity here than in the UK site.

I just looked up F1 in the UK  section.... it's like a darn ghost town.

  6. How do I go karting?

    Find the formula for e=mc2?

What is faster an austin allegro or ferrari 612?

I think questions like this have put many of the regulars off, shame as at times, it can be very lively, for about 30 Min's after a race.

I'm worried about the winter, will anyone still use it?

Ive started exploring and annoying the motorcycle racing and the English football section, they pass the time...

  7. cause things happenig in f-1 doesnt directly affect people(common people who answer and ask questions here)...like consider replacing common people ex-me ,you etc with michael schumacher, jackie stewart, jenson button, alonso, lewis, kimi(not sure...he may be the most inactive member maybe)....who maybe discussing or may have joined to discuss about f1 here....now whatever happens in f-1 directly affects them hence...they will be posting in more questions ...answering more ....and hence there will be more activity.....

and  also there is hardly any big news in f-1 that's happening now a days....look the only big news i have heard after Valencia(european gp) is that 'Testing is allowed at monza' ya if i may have been something in f1 i may have posted this tat'testing is going to start at monza-what u guys are feeling' and ppl may have replyed  to tis thing(consider they may have been my colleagues)...

like in sections like which deals with 'kids','legal matter','transportation' has more activity cause ppl are directly affected by these things.......

if an F-1 race is cancelled hardly any one of us would become suicidal.....unless they may have bought the tickets for the race or....m,aybe  the broadcasting rights !!;-)

  8. i really dont know

    I find wierd also
