F1 visa holder changing graduate school after coming to US

I will be applying for a student visa during the spring semester of 2009. After I come to the US and want to change the university what is the process for that? Also is there any risk in changing a university on a student visa?

There is no risk in changing schools, simply follow the transfer procedure outlined on the 2nd page of the I-20 and the school's own transfer policy.

It is a straight-forward and routine issue.
