F1 winter schedule disclosed
The Bahrain Grand Prix has been a part of the Formula 1 calendar since 2004 and Michael Schumacher was the first driver to win the Bahrain Grand prix at the Bahrain International Circuit. Bahrain was a huge success for the sport as the crowd is always enthusiastic
and the atmosphere is extremely soothing.
Since Bahrain is now a reliable market and venue for the sport, it is being prepared to host the trials for four days of sessions for the 2011 Formula 1 season that is expected to begin in March 2011. The tops of Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) confirmed
the FIA and the pre-season session are expected to take place at the unique Bahrain International Circuit next year.
The tests in Bahrain are expected to be the last of the six session series that will take place during the winters in Europe. The trial in Bahrain is scheduled to begin on March 3 and end on March 6 just a week before the Bahrain Grand Prix is expected to
take place in the 2011 F1 World Championship on March 13.
Before the final race of this season, testing will begin late on in November in Abu Dhabi at the Yas Marina Circuit as the first session is scheduled to take place for two days. The test sessions will take place on 16th and 17th November
followed by pre-race test sessions on the 19th and 20th of November.
Three more sessions are expected to take place next year in Spain as the teams will test their speeds at the circuit in Valencia from the 1st to the 3rd of February followed by another session at Jerez from the 10th to 13th
February before the final session in Barcelona from the 18th to 21st February to end the Spanish series of sessions.
Therefore, the test sessions are expected to take place for almost 19 days and it seems that the teams are going to have a tough time after this season comes to its end by the end of this November.
