Hello, I am deeply distressed seeing this F61 error in my Hifi system (Panasonic SC-VK950) which I purchased about a year before. The audio system was entirely fine, but one day, the cd rack was stuck showing an error as some CHR ERR. As per the manual, I switched off and switched on. But what happened was the speakers gave a shrill noise and I immediately switched off. On retrying, all I see is a seconds sound of "dub" in surround speakers and f61 error and turns off. I was very attached to the system and bought it with more interest and gave more care and very disappointed now. Is the problem repairable? To what extent the problem could be? Would it involve the speakers too. Is the problem minor that me being a non-technical person could handle? Also, from my past experience with philips. It so happened that the philips system was repaired and when checked with its service center. they returned back after a week saying the parts are not manufactured these days and I had to just junk it up now. Will the same happen with this now? or are the parts available kind with panasonic. Awaiting your reply to clear my doubts. Thank you.
