After the interval, the Round 3 of FA Cup continued at the home of Wycombe, Adams Park being refereed by D. McDermidd.
So far the only goal of the slow-paced match had arrived near to the start of 32nd minute when James Mcquiokin assisted in open play. Stuart Fleetwood took advantage of that with his inch perfect cross. Mathieu Manset became crown jewel with a
finesse left footed finish to draw first blood.
The match continued with slow pace however interestingly with rash tackles here and there. One was counted by the referee in the 49th minute when Scott Donnellyn fouled Stuart Fleetwood. He was hence awarded a yellow card for his conduct. The
resulting free kick by Adam Bartlett didn’t bring much to the game.
The next piece of action came in the 57th minute when James Mcquiokin fouled Kevin Betsy giving away a free kick to Wycombe Wanderers. This was followed by Marvin McCoy on the attack from where the ball travelled to Gareth Ainsworth who crossed
it. Adam Bartlett’s long kick brought in to the feet of Joe Colbeck who through striked it but just like the first half Nikki Bull was omnipresent along the goal line.
In the 63rd minute, Stuart http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lewis-c22173 got a lone chance to score but his attempt was poorly connected hence it went sailing over the bar. Just minute later the roles were reversed as Matt Bloomfield struck the shot which was caught by Adam Bartlett.
In the 65th minute, Wycombe Wanderers brought on Ben Strevens for Scott Donnelly and Scott Rendell for Gareth Ainsworth.
In the 67th minute, Kevin Betsy fouled Mathieu Manset for which he was shown a yellow card. Joe Heath line up for the free kick but futility was abundant as another free kick went into the stands.
Hereon, the game became slower yet making the next piece of action being recorded during the 78th minute when Mathieu Manset was slapped with a yellow card for dissent. This was followed by a substitution by Hereford United as they brought Guillem
Bauza for Joe Heath.
In the 81st minute, Stuart Lewis showed chemistry as he dribbled the ball before playing it through to Mathieu Manset but he was called offside. This was followed by an 84th minute hand ball by Matt Bloomfield.
The boring play even continued during dying moments of the encounter. It is noticed that both these teams desperately require some good feet in midfield to spark up some creativity.
In the 88th minute, Matt Bloomfield came up with a strong right-footed shot forcing Adam Bartlett to punch it away. Last true attempt at scoring came in the 90th minute when Ben Strevens struck with his right foot however the ball travelled
far away to the left.
