The match kicked off at the home of Wycombe, Adams Park being refereed by D. McDermidd. This happened signified the qualification of Round 4 in FA Cup.
The game started with snail pace as midfield crawling became evident with wingers and strikers unwilling to make runs.
In the 3rd minute however Stuart Fleetwood became overly ambitious with a cross that flew directly into the hands of goalkeeper Nikki Bull. In the preceding minute the tempo was built up again as Matt Bloomfield took a kick from the corner but
his out-swinging right-footed try went far from the near post.
Joe Heath went onto drive in the 7th minute with James Mcquiokin taking a corner kick; eventually, however, the ball was far from the near post yet again.
In the 11th minute, Joe Heath was slapped with a yellow card when he tackled harshly on Gareth Ainsworth. This resulted in a free kick for Wycombe Wanderers.  Though Andrew Sandell provided a useful cross, Janos Kovacs was present to clear the
ball from danger.
In the 15th minute Mathieu Manset took it upon himself to score and he struck the ball with power but Nikki Bull was alive again as he tipped the ball over making a good save. Two minutes later, Stuart Beavon came up for revenge with an ominous
shot however no conclusion can be reported.
Matt Bloomfield made good progress 20 minutes into the game but his eventual cross was caught by Adam Bartlett. After that Kevin Betsy provided a cross from the left flank resulting in open play. Alan Bennett got a chance to score with his head but he missed
to the right.
In the 22nd minute, Gareth Ainsworth crossed the ball in hopes of his wingers making a run and collecting it but they all were too lethargic hence Joe Heath cleared the ball from harm’s way.
Two minutes later, Gareth Ainsworth made another attempt at scoring but Adam Bartlett made a decent save. A corner kick resulted which in the end got cleared by James Mcquiokin.
In the 27th minute, Marvin McCoy drove in to break the defence but his ambitions saw him lose the ball as Janos Kovacs struck it high and out.
A minute later, James Mcquiokin was yellow carded for a rash tackle on Matt Bloomfield which gave Wycombe Wanderers another free kick. Andrew Sandell took the free kick with Gareth Ainsworth nearly scoring with his head. The ball got struck by the framework
however Gareth Ainsworth had not given up, he came at in again with his feet this time but Adam Bartlett made another save.
Near to the start of 32nd minute James Mcquiokin provided open play. Stuart Fleetwood took advantage of that when he crossed the ball in. Mathieu Manset was became the hero here onwards as he struck a neat finish with left foot, placing the ball
in the back of the net.
In the 37th minute Gareth Ainsworth was up for it again; nonetheless, the shot stopper caught the ball again.
The next real bit of action came late in the 44th minute when James Mcquiokin provided a corner kick. His in-swinging shot came dangerously close to the near post however received clearance in the end. Stuart http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lewis-c22173 was the man who cleared the
ball.
A minute later, Joe Colbeck came up with a strike but it went over the bar. The half ended with James Mcquiokin crossing in the ball for yet another attempt but Nikki Bull was still present to make yet another save.
