Even though http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 skipper John Terry was found not guilty of racially abusing Anton Ferdinand, the Football Association is yet to look into the matter.
The FA could take action against the England international depending on their findings of the matter even though Terry was cleared by the Westminster Magistrates’ Court. It will now entirely be up to the FA if they wish to open disciplinary proceedings against
Terry.
On a previous occasion when http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Uruguay-c3035 international. They are expected to act similarly in this case, though it could
take as long as a week to get proceedings underway.
The FA released a statement according to which they revealed they had taken note of the decision in the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/John-Terry-c18895 case, but held the right to hold their own investigation of the matter. They also refused to make further comments regarding the matter.
A spokesperson for the FA said:
“The FA notes the decision in the John Terry case and will now seek to conclude its own enquiries. The FA will make no further comment at this time.”
Meanwhile, BBC presenter and former Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur Garth Crooks dished out criticism to the FA. Crooks felt the FA was to blame for their lack of action once the matter had been reported by the Queens Park http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rangers-c40314 defender.
According to Crooks the Chelsea and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Anton-Ferdinand-c6260 had said during the match.
Crooks said:
“I believe it was wrong of him to say these words under any circumstances - and though Terry has been found not to have committed a criminal offence, the FA must now decide whether the former England captain should be charged for contravening
its own rules.
If the FA don't act on the undisputed facts, and find Terry guilty of bringing the game into disrepute, a lot of good people are saying to me that there's no point in getting involved in the game at a senior level.”
