Question:

FA flier - Sanchez, Young, or Liriano?

I have a free spot on my roster and I'm 40-50 behind on my pitching innings, so I'm looking to snag one of these three FAs. Important note - my ERA/K/WHIP are already top tier, but I'm lacking wins, so the goal is someone who snags Ws, but not at the expense of other stats.

Anibal Sanchez (Marlins)

Chris Young (Padres)

Francisco Liriano (Twins)

Two of these guys are just coming off the DL, and Liriano's been tearing up the minors but who knows if he'll even be in the rotation. Who do you think is my best bet?

  1. Liriano. He's gotta come up sometime soon as the Twins are getting a lot of heat for keeping him in the minors. It's gonna be tough to make up that many innings this late, so don't sacrifice stats just for a workhorse like Livan Hernandez (not on the list but just an example).

  2. Francisco Liriano...period...nuff said!!

He's on fire and he's gonna continue it in the bigs when he gets the call again...

They will start him and they will have him in regular rotation rather quickly...you are getting a steal with liriano...high k's high IP and High wins...HE'S BAAAACCCKKKK!!!! lol...go with FL

  3. well, its probably liriano............but watch out for anibal sanchez, if he is the same pitcher he was in 2006 (when he threw a no hitter) he will be a perfect choice!!

  4. I really like Chris young but he wont get you many W's in San Diego.Liriano is tearing up the minors but like it was mentioned the twins and his agent are in a fight right now.Wandy Rodriguez on the Astros will be a stud the rest of the year especially at home.
