FACT: females initiate most divorces in the US. Does this fact make men argue cautiously with their wives?

Women file for most divorces simply because it is financially profitable. In the US, a woman has the financial incentive to have many divorces so why would anyone be surprised?

People file divorces because they are unhappy in the relationship.

The reason most women file for divorce is that they do not have access to the finances which are often part of manipulation when the marriage breaks down.  If the wife is not able to make payments for the home, children, school she will be "forced" to file for divorce in order to have access to funds.

What does a woman loose in a divorce ? The man she wants to get rid of.

What does she gain ? Unsupervised access to half or more of his funds and unsupervised access to half or more of his paycheck.

In a divorce a man usually stands to loose, so a man is more likely to stay in a unhappy marriage.

I don't know, my ex tried the opposite to keep me from filing for a divorce, unless caution involves raising your hand to your wife.

My current husband and I both are careful in what we say during a fight because we actually love each other and don't want to hurt the other person out of anger. I think that's how it should be, if it can't be that way then there really is no marriage in the first place, just a piece of paper.
