There is nothing wrong with talking about it, it is news.  Her mother is the one who insists her children stay in the lime light.  It is not nice or proper however, to call Bristol names etc...That is not fair at all.  Her mother has done enough to her, she doesn't need anymore negativity.

*The voters care because it shows what a hypocrite Sarah Palin is and we don't want someone like that in the position of running the country one day.

Apparently Obama cannot even lead his own supporters, since he has repeatedly said that family members are hands off.

It is not an attack.... the other night at the convention Hannity was whining about the media attacking Palin and some of the things they were saying.  What he then talked about was NOTHING that was said by the media.  It was what was being said on blogs and forums like this.  Not sure how anyone confuses the two....  but then again the first responder to your question, pretty much mimicked what Hannity said.....  talk about spinning things.

Not really an attack, the family is supporting their daughter, McCain hugged her and shook hands with the 18 year old man and they're getting married.

People see it as a "non-issue" issue. However, the fact that Palin is in support of abstinence-only education, and her teenage daughter is pregnant, well, I think that speaks for itself. I dislike all that Palin stands for, and if John McCain were to be elected (god forbid) and dies in office (god forbid 2X), she would be president. That is the most frightening thing, ever.

Well, some blogs had it stated her father was the father & that Sarah Palin's last child was really her daughters, which is physically impossible seeing she is 5 month along.

The fact that Obama is the son of a teen white women, conceived out of wedlock, says they have much in common. Perhaps Bristol's child will be a presidental candidate in the future.

Why is the media so h**l bent to tell everyone about Palin's pregnant daughter? Did Bristol do anything to become a public figure?  No.  

For the reasons we thought it was OK for the media to lay off Chelsea Clinton when she was a kid when Bill Clinton was running for and was President, we should respect Bristol Palin's privacy for the same reasons.

Quite simply, it's an attack because it should be off limits, as Obama himself has insisted!

It's an attack because her daughter won't be presiding over the senate, or visiting foreign powers.  That would be Sarah's job.  What next, her 3rd cousin twice removed was a convicted serial killer.  It might be fact, but still irrelevant.
