FAFSA- I need to make a change (ammend it) to it---but how?

I need to put a change in financial situation

I need to put a change in amount of family members in college

I need a telephone number to speak to someone there to help walk me through this all.

HELP!!!!

Click on "Make Corrections to a Processed FAFSA" under section 3.

You should be able to change everything right online. You just go under the big number 2 on the fafsa page that says to open your saved application.

You have good advise here.  Just be aware, any significant changes will likely result in your fafsa being selected for verification meaning you will have to prove it.

You should not have any significant "financial" changes because the info was based on your income from 2007 and that info does not change.  Also, the questions about how much you have in cash, savings and checking accounts is "as of the date" you sign the form.  That also would not change.
