FANTASY FOOTBALL Question!!!!?

The fantasy league that I'm in counts rush and receiving yards as 10 yrds per point, return as 15 yrds per point.

Should I drop someone like Patrick Crayton (projected to get 6 points in week 1) or even TJ Housh (projected to get 8 pts in week 1) for Andre Davis (projected to get 10pts in week 1)?

Andre Davis is projected to get 60 return and 42 receiving and a very slim chance of getting a TD.

  1. Don't drop Housh. You can't. I guarantee he scores more than davis every week.

  2. I really don't think that you should drop any of these guys, they are good players and once you drop them you know that someont else is going to pick him up, well if you give me a little more info about the free agents in your league i can help you out a little more.

  3. Keep both of them. They might not get return yards, but they will get more receiving yards and touchdowns.

  4. Keep Housh. He will have a way better season than Davis.

  5. hey projections mean absolutely nothing...most of the time they are so far off on projections its not even funny...no way will andre davis score more points that tj housh just because of return yards...keep what you have until the season starts...its a month and a half away alot can happen between now and then

  6. Never bench your best players.

There is no reliable way to predict when a player will get a touchdown.  Don't get hung up on projections.  They are someone else's best guess, little more.

Many 'projections' aren't even based on any statistical model.

Davis is a nice flex spot player because of his return yards, but he's not a consistent target in the passing game.

Crayton will likely be a #2 and he'll benefit from the attention paid to Owens and Witten.

Davis for Crayton is not a bad play if you like the comfort of collecting sure points from the return game.  Still, week to week, it's hard to say which player will deliver the most points consistently.

However, I would never drop a front line starter like Housh.

  7. if u get points for individual catches then keep tj but if it is soly on points then i would do it

  8. keep housh....with no more henry and Johnson acting like a moron(wants to be traded) look for TJ to be even bigger for Cincy than he was last year.
