FATHERS, DOES MODERN FEMINISM MEAN your son will be treated LIKE A 3rd CLASS CITIZEN??

Some of you may be too young to remember but there was a movie called The Ten Commandments. In it, Moses casts a spell upon Egypt whereby the first-born son of every Egyptian will die. The ruler of Egypt, Pharaoh, on finding this out immediately goes to see his son. Upon seeing his father, the child weakly raises his arm and says "My father!", to which Pharaoh replies "My son!" and grasps his hand. The wife of Pharaoh is convinced that her son will survive, but Pharaoh says that the 'shadow of death is upon his face'. He then asks his servant to bring Moses to him in his fastest chariot and the servant says "I will bring him, mighty Pharaoh!". A totally dumbstruck Pharaoh can only reply "He's my only son!" before quickly ushering the man to his way.

Later in the film the child dies and Pharaoh spends 3 days and 3 nights praying to The Gods to revive his son. The wife of Pharaoh simply wants revenge against Moses and asks her husband, "How many more days and nights will you pray?".

  1. You have completely misconstrued the meaning behind the story being told and took it completely out of context. And I don’t know if you’re doing this just to be silly or to start an argument with people (to get someone’s blood pumping) or if you really are that lost as far as the teachings of the bible. And I do want to make note to you that playing with the teachings of the living word can get you in far more trouble then using the lord’s name in vain.

Now, I’m not the type of person who knows the bible word for word. I don’t walk around with a sign on my back telling people the world is going to end prior to the next Superbowl football game. But I will say this, because I do take the time to read the bible and try to understand it with an open mind, and an open heart; not taking the scriptures and twisting them to what I believe they should say. From what I was told from my pastor in Houston, Tx and by the Honorable Bishop T.D. Jakes in Dallas, Tx (The Potters House), the reason why the first son of the Egyptian Pharaoh was taken from him was because god instructed Moses (and someone correct me if I’m wrong) to tell the children of Israel (the Israelites, or Jews) to sacrifice a lamb, taking the blood of the lamb and marking their doors to indicate to ‘death’ that the children who dwelled within that home where not to be taken. All the children who’s doors where marked with the blood of the sacrificed lamb (meaning life had already been taken to spare another) where spared, because these deaths where being used by god as a sign to the Pharaoh that he needed to release the chosen children from the bondage of slavery.

Since you didn’t read the story in its entirety, there was a series of events; like the plague of boils that infested the skin of many, the massive swarms of locus that devoured the harvest, the famine that swept through the livestock like wild fire, the Nile truing from water to blood, and the wave of frogs and flies that ran amuck in the streets. These were all things that God had passed to Moses to pass to the Pharaoh would happen if he didn’t change his heart and let the children of Israel go. Now, (putting on my reading glasses) god hardened the Pharaoh’s heart intentionally towards the Jewish slaves so that once they where delivered from bondage, they would have no choice but to rejoice I the goodness of the lord for taking them out of the situation they where in, and not letting the situation they where in get into them (hopefully you understand where I’m coming from). Even after losing his first born child, the Pharaoh was still trying to hold on to what God was trying to take away from him (like you for example, holding onto the false idea that feminist are out to destroy the bond between man and his son, knowing d@m well it’s time to let that go because you know your wrong).

The Pharaoh didn’t believe in the power of God’s wrath, because he believed in his own gods (or false idols). To him our father’s word coming from Moses (who was once his brother) was null and void. So he didn’t listen, when Moses forewarned him of what was to come. Feminist was not even a word back then. People knew nothing of the feminist movement. If you went back in time and preached that non-sense about feminist people would look at your like you’re crazy (like many of us are doing now). The story of Moses was told to show how God can deliver you out of any situation you’re in regardless of if you personally feel there is no way (“Oh Moses, how will we build bricks with no straw”). It has nothing to do with the feminist movement, regardless of what you believe, the story goes deeper then the bond between man and son. I’m older than 25 (I’ll be 30 come September), and my grandmother would have slapped me dead in my mouth if I came in her house preaching non-sense like this. We all know that the bond between a father and his son is special. The bond between any parent and offspring regardless of the species is priceless. I personally don’t understand how, in your twisted little pea-brain mind you where able to link this story, and the feminist movement, in an attempt to show case how feminist is trying to destroy the bond between a father and his son. If it’s anything you can say is that many men have taken the bond between his children and himself for granted. Remember, there are plenty of women out there who can say they are single mothers, but can’t say that they’re wives. If the man doesn’t stick around to raise his child, how is feminism the end of these types of bonds? How can you contribute the abandonment of a child from his/her father to feminism? I think you need to sit down with you local pastor and have him re-read this story to you so that you get a full understanding of the message that being given. This is why I try hard not to quote the bible because I’m not a priest, pope, bishop, or rabbi and I refuse to make myself look as ridiculous as you have trying to twist the teaching to what I believe them to be. Ask god to assist you with a full understanding of the teachings of the word. Because it’s obvious that understanding is something you lack.

  2. How many months have you been posting this same Q?

  3. I can't cook, due to a shattered wrist.  We're ordering Chinese.

  4. DOWN WITH THE PATRIARCHY!

ITS EVIL HERITAGE AND OPRESSION WILL NOT BE MISSED.

  5. When you go through the mince grinder of the family court system you'll know that men are 3rd class citizens already, never mind their sons.

  6. Who cares? Why would you think mens rights and beliefs are the only ones threatened by feminism. Feminism is not my idea of womens rights, as a matter of fact they are destroying everything I hold to be true, decent, and honest. These people are on a power trip, and give the quest for equality and fairness a bad name. They are fighting for anarchy, not equal rights. ;-)

  7. Have you ever heard Cat Stevens song Father and son... I love what the son says

"How can I try to explain?

When I do--he turns away again

And it's always been the same

    Same old story

From the moment I could talk

    I was ordered to listen

    Now there's a way, and I know

That I have to go away

I know, I have to go..."

I honestly think that the father and son relationships have improved since women (mothers) have created a more loving father and son relationship.  Men back in the day believed that they owned their sons but the truth is there was no bond.

  8. I treat YOU as a third-class citizen.  No one mourns.

  9. Relax, feminism is not going to harm father-son bonds, and no, boys will not be treated like third class citizens.

Now please get over your paranoid theory's and come up with some new questions!

  10. If radical feminist have made themselves First class citizens and men are being treated like Third class citizens then who is considered a second class citizen? Your logic is flawed.

You get a pat on the back for trying though

Do you get tired of posting the same questions or is your brain stuck on repeat?

  11. go play world of warcraft and quit posting this question.

  12. Read something, man. Read the TV guide. You watch too many silly movies.

The bible gives a less dramatic story.

  13. I think radical feminism sees masculinity as inherently evil and sexually predatory- the cause of all the wars in the world. But it seems like there's been somewhat of a backlash, especially thanks to the movie Fight Club.

  14. no. my son is first class all the way, Anatol baby.

  15. We're having roast chicken for dinner. What's everyone else having?

  16. I'm having roast pheasant. Just kidding.

Dude - get a life outside of a TV, will ya? Lighten up.

  17. Afraid of women eh? Well rest assured. We don't believe that anyone should be treated like a third class citizen that goes along with second to. Ask your self this, is it a man that Pharaoh and his wife are mad at for killing their only son or is God? Ah, now the wheels are turning in that brain of yours. Know your facts and your history before you go running off at the mouth.

Edit: Anyone who dare talks to, look at, treats, or regards, my son as a third class citizen will personally get there *** stomped. Be that man or woman.

  18. Oh lord.  You sad, misinformed little man.  Or troll.
