FBI field agent???

I want to be an Fbi field agent. currently i am in high school. i have done some research into this and know i need at least a bachelors degree in like accounting or computer science but i would really like to study psychology but i dont know if they will accept me if i do study psychology and if i am ill still need to know a critical skill like accounting. ANY HELP?????????????????????????

  1. Psychology would be a good choice actually. Law enforcement or crim justice as well would be solid choices as a second major.

    Accounting would only be good if you want to do white collar crimes, which isn't really a field agent, mostly investigating fraudulent accounting practices, the work is all done in an office. If you want to be going out more then Crim Justice, Psychology, Sociology, ect would be the best choices.

  3. A good FBI agent is born not made. Unless you want to sit behind a desk and push a pencil, you need sharp physical and mental skills. You are put through 17 weeks of training at which time they can spot the rising and falling stars. P.S, After 911, the FBI will make allowances for middle eastern candidates who posses certain skills that can be applied to fight terrorism.

  4. Yeah, study both. You need to study what they require and anything else like psychology is a plus and possibly more dinero
