It seems that it took her years to figure out that she didn't know the name of her husband. And, when you don't know the name, there's a good reason why. It turns out he may be responsible for a murder and she left their young child in his care.

The ex was an ivy league graduate and a big wig in a consulting firm. As far as book learning was concerned, she wasn't stupid. How do you think she feels now that she knows she lived with someone who might be a murderer. Pretty scary.

Con artist are very convincing and a lot of times very maniulative so they tend to know how to work people .But once she did find out he had told her some lies she divorced him.So obviously we all have been fooled once or twice by someone ....who says or does or are not what they say...who really knows anyone or knows what goes on behind closed doors.

I feel for her.

It is very common for American women to marry for money never mind if their husband is a serial rapist or a serial killer.  What matters is MONEY.
