FC Girondins de Bordeaux president, Jean-Louis Triaud, refused to let go of his club manager, Jean Tigana, after the tactician offered to resign from his seat earlier this week. The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-Lyonnais-c40130 tactician felt like he was not the perfect man
for the club’s development, and offered to hand in his resignation. However, the club’s president showed no hesitation in entrusting the tactician and rejected his offer to resign. Tigana took the manager hot seat at Les Girondins in May 2010, replacing Laurent
Blanc.
Jean-Louis Triaud said, “Jean told us he wanted to leave. We refused the offer. We want to carry it through. He has sole authority over the first-team and we are happy with this denouement”.
The former Lyon and Fulham boss was enthralled with the confidence he was given by the team management. He said, “I offered to resign because I thought I was a brake and I don't like being a brake. Jean-Louis Triaud and Nicolas de Tavernost proved to me
that I was not a brake and that we could carry on working together. I am still motivated to coach Les Girondins, even more so now that I have the total confidence of everybody. I doubted that and now the doubt has been lifted”.

by a UEFA Europa League spot by a mammoth 10 points. Les Girondins tactician will be hoping that his side claims good results in the coming weeks. With 13 games left to play in the season, a place in the European competition looks farfetched for the Bordeaux outfit. However, in the game of football anything
can happen. Tigana will have to claim good results if he wants to finish the season at a respectable position in the league table.
Les marine et blanc disappointing run of form started at the start of the 2010 under the leadership of Lauren Blanc, as they began the year top of Ligue 1 table. However, they ended the season outside of European berths after a string of bad results. Triaud
will be hoping that after the latest vote of confidence, Tigana will start claiming good results, as their aim is to play in the Europa League next term.
