FC Groningen cruised to a hard fought 1-0 victory over Ajax Amsterdam at Euroborg Stadion on Sunday, October 2. Pieter Huistra, the Green-White-Army head coach, was delighted with his side’s win against the defending Dutch champions.
The 44-year-old tactician expressed his satisfaction on his troops’ performance on the pitch and revealed that it was a much needed victory that would serve as a morale booster.
