Stale Solbakken dreaming of beating the Bavarian Giants to maintain Cologne’s unbeaten record at Allianz Arena.
As Bayern prepare to host FC Koln on Friday, December 16, the Billy Goats manager has signalled his intentions of upsetting the league leaders at the Allianz-Arena.
Koln have not lost a single game against the Reds in their previous four visits and a win on Friday could move them to seventh spot on the league table. Solbakken is confident of clinching all three points and maintaining their
unbeaten record at Allianz Arena.
However, a Bayern victory will ensure that they go into the traditional winter break with their superiority maintained on top of the Bundesliga standings.
While taking during the pre-match press conference, Solbakken further enthused:
"Our aim is to bring the first half of the season to a good conclusion. We have got to believe that we can perform because there are either one or three points at stake in Munich too."

Having seen Podolski perform this season, the German international believes that the attacker will be a massive threat to his side’s ambitions on Friday.
The former Schalke shot stopper wishes to see the 26-year-old wearing the red and white colour, and believes that he would be a perfect addition to Bayern strike force.
While talking to Tz newspaper, Neuer further mentioned:
"If he gets the chance to shoot and the ball sits nicely for him on his left foot, then I know what it is like. I know that he is a very good striker. He would certainly enrich Bayern. I tried to attract him to Schalke a few years
ago, but he desperately wanted to stay in Cologne.” the shot-stopper concluded.
Koln have picked up 21 points from 16 games thus far and are placed 10th in the league table.
