FC Koln manager Stale Solbakken is wary of the attacking threat Borussia Monchengladbach can cause in the upcoming Bundesliga fixture on Friday. He stated that although the opposition has been in great form off-late, his side will

Solbakken claimed that Monchengladbach has been in brilliant form and will surely contend for the title with the likes of Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund. He praised the opposition’s sensational improvement from last season
when at one point they were almost relegated.
The manager added that anything can happen in the match as both sides are capable of securing a win. He added that his side definitely has the backing of the home fans in the match and predicted another good display for his team.
“We are not scared of Gladbach. Of course they are in good form, but anything can happen in a derby and we are the home team,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The boss added that it is a very important derby for the both sides as the opposition will be looking to keep up to Bayern for the top spot whereas Koln want to enter the top ten in the table. He admitted that the players will
be short of match practice as their fixture was called off last week after the international break.
“Everybody knows that it is a derby and we have not played for three weeks now so it is good to have such a game. The derby comes at just the right time,” he concluded.
FC Koln will host Borussia Monchengladbach at the RheinEnergieStadion on Friday, November 25 in search of their sixth win of the campaign.
