FC Nuremberg striker Christian Eigler hoping to improve on performances in the next season
FC Nuremberg striker Christian Eigler has stressed on the fact that his performances should improve in the upcoming season. He insisted that there is still potential for betterment and he admitted that he should be scoring more
goals to guarantee his side a successful season.

avoiding relegation in the previous term.
Eigler insisted that he is open to playing in any position upfront whether it is the wings or the centre forward position. He added that he has no problems with the position and insisted that his main target would be to score more
and more goals for the club.
“There are three front seats, one is for me. Whether that is then in the middle or on the wing, I do not itch. I'm all over my goals,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The German admitted that he has to maintain his fitness and has a lot of responsibility on his shoulders as he is one of the few experienced players in the squad. He claimed that senior players should perform in order to inspire
the young ones at the club.
“At my age, we know that we must do something more, than the specified roadmap,” the player continued.

determination towards the game.
"This shows the younger ones, that it is only in the long run with a professional attitude,” the manager added.
