FC Porto's http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fernando-c13609 on the radar of AC Milan – Liga Sagres News
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Porto-c39186’s Fernando is reportedly wanted by AC Milan, with the Italian giants looking to secure his services once the transfer window re-opens. The Brazilian was targeted by a host of top clubs across Europe in the summer but a move failed to materialize despite the player handing in a transfer request.
Brazilian U-20 International, Fernando, has again made the headlines after attracting the attention of yet another potential suitor.
During the summer, the midfielder had been linked with a switch to the likes of Juventus, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786; however given the €30 million price-tag on his head, most clubs turned their attention to other players.
However it seems that not everyone has given up hope of landing the former Vila Nova man, with Serie A side, AC Milan, having expressed an interest in him.
Massimo Allegri’s men won the league last time out, but with the departure of Andrea Pirlo, they have been lacking creativity in the centre of the pitch. The addition of Fernando could be the solution to their problems, as he could light up the San Siro with his Brazilian skills and help the side quell their midfield woes.
Although Milan are in the race to sign the 24-year-old, joining them is Jurgen Klopp’s Borussia Dortmund, who are also keen to add the Selecao International in their ranks.
The German outfit are the current reigning champions but the poor form of their playmaker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Shinji-Kagawa-c33364 has severely dented their ability to defend their crown. With their need of securing a midfielder greater than most of their rivals, Jurgen Klopp will be tempted to splash the cash for Fernando.
However the €30 million required to prise him out of the hands of FC Porto, is not something which both the interested teams will be willing to churn out, especially given that the player is not even a regular starter at Estadio do Dragao.
The Portistas will also not accept any offer less than their evaluation and the stage is set for yet another troublesome transfer window for Fernando, who had to endure the agony of not being sold in the summer despite handing in a transfer request.
