FC Porto News: Kleber to return against APOEL, Hulk facing a 3 year prison sentence
Kleber to return in the UEFA Champions League game against APOEL
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Porto-c39186 forward, Kleber, is expected to resume his club duties when the Portuguese side host APOEL at Estadio do Dragao.
The Brazilian forward has been on the sidelines since the clash with Zenit, in which he injured his right shoulder. In http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Russia-c2991, Kleber was thought to have seriously hampered his playing career but further scans revealed that it was not as serious as originally thought.
He has now started training once again but did so without the presence of his teammates. However he is still not likely to be rushed, as it could trigger a relapse of the problem and perhaps even make it worse.
Despite the risk, Kleber is expected to train and be in contention for the visit of the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Cyprus-c2881 giants on the 19th of October.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hulk-c16436 facing a 3 year prison sentence for his antics against Benfica in 2009
Portista favourite, Hulk, is reportedly facing a prison sentence for three years. The attacker was given a four-month ban initially for his brawl in the Benfica tunnel in 2009 but it was reduced to four matches afterwards.
However if the disciplinary committee gives the verdict against him, he will have to spend almost three years on the sidelines. Alongside the mercurial front-man, his teammates http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jorge-Fucile-c19163 and James Rodriguez are also facing the same sentence.
Only Romanian defender, Cristian Săpunaru is expected to get off leniently as he does not have a previous criminal record.
If Hulk is indeed punished, it could spell the doom of FC Porto, who have been reliant on the former Tokyo Verdy man to get them through difficult games. His current value of €100 million would also decline, meaning that the Dragons would suffer financially as well.
With the Public Ministry hot on the heels of the Porto players and determined to see justice, escape is not an option for Hulk. And if he does get sent to prison, it would be the end of a glorious career, whose dizzying heights we have yet to experience.
