The Austrian ace has reportedly penned down a three-and-a-half-year deal with the Europa League holders. 
Reports from De Grolsch Veste confirm that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marc-Janko-c23484 from FC Twente Enschede. The tall striker has reportedly penned down a contract with the Portuguese giants that will keep him at Estadio do Dragao until the summer
of 2015.
The Europa League winners were in search of a good striker since the departure of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Radamel-Falcao-c30276 to Atletico Madrid last summer, and saw the 28-year-old as a perfect addition to their front-line.
The Tukkers had been in talks with the Dragons since last Sunday, and both sides have now finally reached an agreement on the transfer, though, for an undisclosed transfer fee.
Janko expressed utter joy and satisfaction after completing his transfer to the Portuguese outfit.
“It was very strange for me when there was much of the deal still to be completed. Now everything is done and I can therefore only be satisfied”, the tall striker was quoted as saying to the media.
He then went on to insist that it's an honour to represent the Dragons.
“Porto is of course a great club to play for. Not only in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Portugal-c2984 but also in Europe. They qualify for the Champions League almost all the time and I consider it an honour to represent this club”, the Australian ace added.
The 28-year-old asserted that he has always tried to perform at his best and admitted that he had a wonderful time plying his trade at De Grolsch Veste.
“I've always done my best, trying to score as many as I could. I could not do more than that as a player. On the contrary, I have had a wonderful time at Twente and appreciate the fans' support”, Janko concluded.
The Austrian International made his move to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Twente-c39233 in the summer of 2010 after netting an impressive 75 goals in 108 appearances for Red Bull Salzburg. During his one-and-a-half-year stay at De Grolsch Veste, the 28-year-old managed to score an impressive
24 goals in 45 matches.
